1. 1.Who we are. NextEventHQ operates an online platform connecting Rio Grande Valley event planners with local Vendors.
2. 2.Information we collect. Account info (name, email, password, and for Vendors: business name, phone, city, category, description, price range, and photos/links you provide); booking request info (event date, message, and contact details you submit); payment info (subscriptions are processed by Stripe — we receive limited billing details such as status, plan, and last four digits, but do not store full card numbers); and usage info (basic analytics, device/browser info, and cookies).
3. 3.How we use it. To operate the platform, manage accounts, route booking requests and messages between users and Vendors, process Vendor subscriptions, provide support, send service and billing notices, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
4. 4.How we share it. With Vendors or users to complete booking requests you initiate; with service providers who help us run the platform (e.g., Stripe for payments, hosting, email); and if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information.
5. 5.Cookies. We use cookies for login, preferences, and analytics; you can control cookies in your browser.
6. 6.Data retention. We keep information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
7. 7.Your choices. You can update your account info, cancel your subscription, and request deletion of your account by contacting us.
8. 8.Children. The platform is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
9. 9.Security. We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.
